Hi guys I decide to propagate some of my plants in perlite. One question: Is it better to have it in a container with no drainage or in a nursery pot with drainage? I'm thinking of nursery pot like Jon does it but I don't know how often I should water? Thanks!
@Alissa I'm also waiting for a response. In the meantime I'll tell you my experiences with perlite. I have been successful with no drainage, always making sure the node has contact with water but not submerged in it. When it roots, it will search down for water. I'm not sure if that's the proper way to do it but it has worked for me in the pass.

By far the best propogation method for me. My plants are rooting and growing twice as fast with less care. I use no drainage and just keep a small amount of water at the bottom at all times.
