My variegated black cardinal needs your help

  • I really need help. I have had 2 leaves just fall off  the plant is under T5 barrina lights. The soil is fox farms happy frog and ocean perlite and charcoal. Water once a week. The leaf turned mushy and feel off so did the other. Humidity is between 50-60%  what should I do

  • The bottom left leaf is still kind of soft. The bottom leafs don't look happy

  • I would unpot it and look at the roots if that were my plant. But maybe you know the roots are fine because you've seen them recently? Maybe it came from a high humidity environment and is having trouble acclimating to your conditions?

  • @Darell give it a slight tug before unpotting if it's rooted well leave it. Cardinals don't like their roots messed with...

we're both leaves lower and high color? If yes this is very common with cardinals that are acclimating. Give me some more info- how long have you had it? Temps and anything else you can think of...

how long are you lights on? And do they have a lot of pink bulbs
