I know this is not a plant care related question but I have relatives in Puerto Rico that I want to send my plants to. Anyone has ever done this? When I look up how to ship I read that Puerto Rico requires you to have some kind of permit/papwerwork/certificate. Could anyone help me on this?
If shipping is not an option, would I be able to bring plants from mainland usa to Puerto Rico if I travel by airplane (like a vacation)?
** Also notice that a lot of places don't ship plants to Alaska. Why it that?
