Just received a Var. Manila Pride in the mail two weeks ago. Sectoral white portions look to be developing adema. Its sitting mostly in the moss it shipped in so I wonder if it has too much water sitting in it. Repot into different substrate? Will Attach photo tomorrow.
Found the problem. Cut off the rot, rubbed the end with cinnamon, and repotted into Noot mix.
@Joshua so that was most likely not rot, (unless it smelled really strong) most highly variegated plants will have some leaf die off during acclimation. (Which that looks like) but if it's happy now that's all that matters!!!!
@Jonathan Brant it was pretty spongy and dank. Reminded me of an alocasia turning south. Edges of the two oldest leaves are very slightly yellowing... but I'm just going to ignore it and hope for the best. These are supposed to be easy going :/
